I Was Her and She Was Me

client:
Marina Kelly

A multi-faceted event-part of the city wide Spring 2009 Gallery Night sponsored by the Madison Museum of Contempory Art.

Marina Kelly, Susan White, and Brian Daly will premiere their live installation "I Was Her and She Was Me." The piece uses performance, objects, video, and sound to explores the fluid nature of self and time during states of transitional consciousness.

The Sid Frenchman Quartet will be performing and recording several sets of experimental music as part of the open house. The non-eponymously named group is comprised of some of DNA's heaviest hitting musicians: Scott Beardsley-drums; Chris Boeger-bass; Andrew Rohn-keyboard; Brian Elliot- Saxophone.

There will also be an exhibition of new paintings by Sarah West Whitcomb.
